Refund policy

Our preorder promise

Cancel any time before your order ships for a full refund, including shipping and applicable tax. Payment is collected at checkout. To cancel, email max@didthedogeat.com with your order number.

If your dog isn't a fan

Try the bowl at home. If it isn't a good fit, contact us within 30 days of delivery to start a return. Normal use during that time is welcome. Please clean the bowl and return all included parts within 14 days after we send you return instructions. Original packaging is helpful but not required.

For a change-of-mind return, including a dog who doesn't like the bowl, you pay the return postage. We refund the price paid for the returned bowl and applicable tax; original shipping charges are not refunded. There is no restocking fee, and we do not deduct a new shipping charge if your original order qualified for free shipping.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect on arrival

If your bowl arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, email us with your order number and a description of the problem. We cover any required return shipping and offer a replacement or refund. If you choose a refund for the whole order, it includes the original shipping charge and applicable tax.

Our holiday delivery promise

Delivery by December 21st, 2026 is guaranteed for orders placed by December 10th, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Central. Orders placed after that cutoff are not guaranteed to arrive for the holiday. If we learn that your delivery may be delayed, we will email you before the promised delivery date with an update, or explain if a new date is not yet known. You can choose to wait or cancel for a full refund. We will keep an unshipped order beyond the promised date only with your agreement. If you do not agree, we will cancel and refund it. You can still cancel any time before it ships.

Warranty

The bowl has a 1-year warranty, separate from the 30-day return policy. For warranty help, email max@didthedogeat.com.

Refund timing

We issue cancellation refunds within 7 business days. For returns, we issue the refund within 7 business days of receiving the bowl. Refunds go to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the credit.

We send return instructions directly; please contact us before mailing a bowl. This policy does not limit any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

The delivery promise accepted with an existing order remains in effect. Orders placed after the holiday cutoff are not covered by this holiday-delivery guarantee.
